Message from Director General

Prof. (Dr.) Shamim Ahmad is one of the renowned academicians and has been conferred M.Pharm and Ph.D with specialization in Pharmacognosy & Phytochemistry from Hamdard University, New Delhi, He was awarded a gold medal in 1991 by Hamdard University and a silver medal by IP.G.A. Delhi for academic excellence in M.Pharma. He has been awarded "Distinguished Leadership Award" by The American Biographical Institute for outstanding contributions to contemporary society. He has more than 34 years' working experience in various capacities as Lecturer, A.P.. Professor and Principal in different AICTE/PCI approved pharmacy colleges in India. Presently. he is engaged as Director, Translam Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research, Meerut. He is author of have pharmacy books and has published more than ninty (90) various papers in national and international journals. He has guided eight (08) Ph.D scholars as Supervisor and Guiding six (06) Ph.D Scholars as Supervisor/Co-Supervisor pursuing Ph.D at different universities in India. He actively participated in a number of national/international scientic conferences and seminars. He is member of expert committees for the inspection of pharmacy colleges of various technical boards and universities. Besides this, he is on the panel of various universities as examiner.
